It is said that it is important to measure kininogen-degrading enzyme (kininase) and kinin-releasing activity in the drug substance and the drug as a process control and quality test in the production of caridinogenase drug, which is a cardiovascular drug such as an antihypertensive drug.
The bioassay method was used as the measurement method, however, a simple method was desired because of use of animals and the low measurement accuracy.
Bradykinin is a peptide that has physiological effects such as strong vasodilatory effect and vascular permeability enhancing effect.
Measurement of kinin, including bradykinin, is highly expected to provide important information in the analysis of kinin-related pathologies such as inflammation, shock, and hypertension.
This kit can be used for measuring concentration of bradykinin in human samples.

Bradykinin Assay Kit is an assay kit based on a competitive Enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA) using a microstrip plate. Bradykinin concentration is measured from enzymatic activity of peroxidase which is bound to a microstrip plate by competitive reaction of bradykinin in samples and peroxidase-labeled bradykinin against to an antibody-1 [anti-bradykinin antibody] which is captured an antibody-2 [anti-rabbit IgG antibody] coated on a microstrip plate.
