Enzyme immunoassay for determination of Mouse TNF-α concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and other biological samples. For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Uniprot ID: P06804
TNFα also known as Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha. It is mainly secreted by various immune cells, such as monocytes, macrophages, and T cells, and plays an important role as a regulatory factor in inflammation and immune responses. When the body is subjected to trauma, infection, tumors, and other damage, TNFα can stimulate inflammation and activation of immune cells, and participate in resisting external invasion. However, excessive or abnormal release of TNFα can also cause a series of diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune diseases, and others.
